Okay I love all the characters honestly, there hasn’t been one I’m not a fan of. If he would’ve found Hugo irl his life would’ve been different maybe. Only thing I’m wondering is when the real events are gonna start, they’re just chillin in the tea house and while it’s still an enjoyable read, I don’t want everything to happen in the last 50 pages you know. Also kind of confused at this reaper roll, so they’re not fully dead but not fully alive? Or like they’re normal humans and can see dead people? When Mei was explaining it I was confused because she didn’t say she died and that she still talks to her mom…idrk. But still liking the book so far!

I like the book so far, Wallace is such a pessimist from the beginning so I’m interested to read what events he goes thru in the book that’ll give him like character development. I like Mei too I hope she stays a prominent character in the book she kind of reminds me of myself or what I would be like as a reaper. So far it’s an easy, fun read and I feel like within the next few chapters he’s going to slowly accept that he’s dead bc he’s def in denial right now and then they’ll offer him the 7 days to go make amends/change.
